My name is Amanda,Yes, I'm a soon to be Simon! The clock is ticking down were getting married October 5th, 2013.
I am currently a full time student, planning my wedding, while working part time. Needless to say things tend to get a little crazy in our house with homework here, wedding stuff there, 3 dogs running around here and there! Somehow between everything I have going on I still manage to find time to do the occasional sewing and crafts (I usually just shut the door!)
My most recent sewing project, I made matching blankets for my cousins twins. They decided not to find out the sex so I went neutral which worked since they had a boy and a girl! I am finally going to school to pursue my nursing degree, I am beyond ecstatic! Right now I am working on my pre-requisites for dual enrollment into the BSN program with Glendale Community College and Northern Arizona University. Since I've only just started my pre-recs, I know that holding my bachelors degree is still a ways away, but I can't help but smile about it. Nursing has been a passion of mine since I was a kid following my grandmother around while she worked. She has now been an RN for almost 40 years! I cant wait to follow in her footsteps she is a big influence on my life. I know its a lot to take in and its all about me... Forgive me I hope you stop back by as I update my blog.
